Another fin vs. bumhole situation, this time mercifully caught on camera.

The fin belonged to Ventura’s Nick Rozsa — once a burgeoning young talent with a hefty contract, then a washout with a baby on the way, then the best unsponsored surfer in the world (as decreed by Kelly Slater), nowadays reunited with former sponsor Reef and helping the homeless via his blog Salty Beards.

The bumhole belonged to an unfortunate bodyboarder unable to evade Rosza as he sped out of the barrel.

Turned out Rosza had hit the bullseye. Full extent of damage unknown.
