After the pumping swell that they had for the trials, the surf’s been pretty lacklustre by Chopes standards, prompting conspiracy theorists to suggest it’s the fault of SE’s Quirin Rohleder and Timo, who are both in Tahiti currently. I’m not sure myself.

Let’s just hope it picks up a bit (not too much…) late next week, when I join Timo in Tahiti’s Tuamotu islands for the O’Neill Mission 2007. Ra-ther!
