ASP Desk takes a look back at some of the carnage from the opening day of the Billabong Pro Tahiti, of which there was no shortage. From Wilko’s face plant to CJ Hobgood’s trip over the falls, reef cuts abounded. But it was Tahitian trialist Taumata Puhetini who ended up going down hardest right at the end of the day, once the wind had come up. South African campaigner Travis Logie also ended up having to pull out of the contest due to injury, offering CJ Hobgood a Round 2 bye straight through to Round 3. Watch and weep!
