7. STAB TO THE HEART

We like Australia’s Stab Magazine and not just because they manage to persuade surfing’s hottest female surfers to wear not much at all. They also use fantastic fonts. Anyway, here they have Sage Erickson bursting at the seams and a visage so blemish free you’d think it was photoshopped. But we all know surf magazines don’t use such trickery, don’t we?

6. KELLY SLATER AND BIG THICK GREEN STD’s

Mark Mathews posted this left baz, but it is Kelly Slater’s response that is intriguing. Just what type of sexually transmitted disease is he thinking of? And did you notice how mature we were and didn’t even mention Pamela Anderson?

5. SHARK ISLAND SHIPWRECKS AND MacGYVER

This trawler was washed up last week in Cronulla, Sydney, directly between the breaks of Cronulla Point and Shark Island. With a ten foot swell coming attempts to dislodge it proved unsuccessful. Perhaps that was unsurprising with the Sydney Morning Herald reporting; “The salvage operation of a stranded fishing trawler stuck on rocks at Cronulla has been likened to an episode of MacGyver, with a union representative claiming the incident controller stripped down to his swimming trunks and swam out to the boat with rope, duct tape and a knife between his teeth.”

3. PHOTOBOMB

You’ve probably heard that the Gold Coast has been pumping this week, with even old school Kirra coming into play. Ex pro Clint Kimmins was getting involved, posting this on pic on twitter with the comment: Surfing the past couple days has been so much fun. Here’s a cheeky little photo bomb #goodtimes

2. JALANA
Surfing’s 2nd favourite couple!

It was on Valentine’s Day that Alana posted this first image, causing hearts to swoon. Imagine then only a few days later when this second photo at the Burton Pro in Newcastle revealed Alana being very cosy with the world junior champ Jack Freestone. Is this surfing’s first big power couple since Layne Beachley and Ken Bradshaw? What do we call them? Jalana, FreeChard? Yes these are the important questions in surfing that Surf Europe are never afraid to ask.

The reason Alana and John Major are only no.2 is of course coz the very hottest couple are these two sweet blondes Al Knost and Ford Archbold, who incidentally both stunt double for Courtney.
