Well this is one of the more surreal things we’ve seen over the last week. It involves Sal Masekela, who you will know from his various roles in the surf media, being interviewed by rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg A.K.A. Snoop Lion A.K.A. Bemo Hoes, under which last moniker he hosts his own Youtube show called GGN (Double G News). With blunt in hand, Snoop recounts his own experiences on a bodyboard (2:05), asks Sal what it feels like to wipe-out (4:05), and gives his verdict on Sal’s wave-riding technique (14:10). Fela Kuti is also discussed towards the end, as is Sal’s father, the South African jazz musician Hugh Masekala.
