The Barbados Surfing Association is once again inviting surfers from across the globe to come and compete and enjoy the great waves and hospitality of the Barbados coast.

This year’s edition of the Reef Classic will run from the 3–5th November at the world famous “Soup Bowl” in Bathsheba. Some past winners of this event have been Kelly Slater, Asher Nolan, Dean Randazzo and Russell Winter.

This year the event has a total prize purse of $10000 US with an entry fee of $75 US.

Also new to the event this year is the fact that for the first time the contest will form part of the Latin American & Caribbean Pro tour. This alone will attract many of the top pros from across this region and competition is expected to be tougher than ever.
