FCS is pleased to announce their latest addition to the surf team, Nic Lamb. Already established as a top contender at the ripe young age of 19. Nic is known for giving incredible performances at Mavericks and showing off his aerial antics in numerous local air contests with first place finishes in the VQ’s, ISF, NSSA, ISA, and Oakley Air show twice, along with endless photo spreads and video clips.
“We are all really stoked to have Nic join the Team here at FCS,” says Northern California FCS Rep Mike Bennett. “Nic has been charging Mavs since he was 16 years old, how many teens can say that? His fearless approach to surfing big waves is just a sign of things to come. Not only does he charge harder than a lot of people his age, but Nics aerial attack is equally impressive as his big wave skills. He will be a valuable asset to our Team.”
Residing in his hometown on the Westside of Santa Cruz, Nic has grown up amongst the worlds top Big Wave Chargers, Daryl “Flea” Virostko, Peter Mel and Ken “Skindog” Collins. “Nic has been taking pointers from the Mavs crew so it’s no wonder why the kid charges so hard!” says Mike.
With all the big sponsors backing him such as Volcom, Strive Surfboards, Electric, Freestyle and now FCS, Nick has all the artillery he needs to pursue a successful career in the competitive surfing world. Everyone at FCS welcomes Nic Lamb to the team and patiently awaits with anticipation to see this talented young ripper from the west coast blow minds away in the future.
