Look out Europe…Rusty is back!

After a 4 year hiatus the world famous brand Rusty is back and ready to roll in the European market!

 

In June 2007 all working rights to the global Rusty trademarks were acquired by the Rusty Australian licensees, Vegas Enterprises Pty Ltd.

 

Rusty Australia is renowned throughout the surfing community as an innovative and progressive company and, as part of its ongoing commitment to the Rusty brand, will now invest in a wholly owned European subsidiary, Vegas Europe.

 

Vegas Europe S.A.S will launch with the same progressive approach to product and marketing in Europe and will be unveiling its fresh and exciting new spring apparel and surfboard line in June 2008 from its offices situated in Biarritz, France.

 

Rusty International business manager Ces Wilson said the company is extremely upbeat about the prospects for Rusty in Europe and is motivated by the opportunity.
“We believe that Rusty has a lot to offer the European market and look forward to reacquainting the brand with the region”.

 

The relaunch of the brand in Europe is a key component of Rusty’s international growth strategy and is one of many exciting recent developments.

 

Global surfboards president, Rusty Preisendorfer has just been named Surfer Magazines ‘Shaper of the year’ in the US and the international team headed up by two of the world’s most progressive surfers, Jamie O’Brien and Josh Kerr, are driving the brand profile.”
