North Shore legend and highly respected charger Brock Little has announced that he is suffering from cancer. One of the boldest and best-loved big wave surfers of his generation, the 48-year old has been a consistent standout at Waimea throughout his career, while excelling at countless other breaks around the world.

What’s there to say at a time like this? “I have cancer,” wrote Little on Instagram. “It sucks, but I taking chemo. You do what you can.” That more or less sums it up.
