Hot Tuna has announced it has renewed its contract with professional surfer Toby Atkins for the 2007 season.

According to the agreement, Atkins will continue as a brand spokesperson and advertising subject, and represent Hot Tuna in the British Professional Surf Tour, on which he won a contest leg and finished 7th overall in the year-end standings. He will additionally join fellow teammates Shea Lopez and Bron Heussenstamm on the World Qualifying Series tour, vying for points toward a chance at the ’08 World Championship Tour.

Toby has just returned from his first taste of the North Shore and has been training super hard ready for his return to the UK. He is currently back home on the Gold Coast scoring good waves and competing in local events.

Toby will return to the UK to take on the BPSA UK Tour as well as continuing to film for his latest video with Micah Lester, MVP.

Look out for Toby in 2007… this could be his year.
