MULLAGHMORE RUMBLES TO LIFE

France’s Justine Dupont, who, as the name would suggest, is a girl. Reckon this is impressive? Well next month, she’s paddling to Antarctica!

As the first real meat of autumn rumbled the Atlantic yesterday, Mullaghmore Head on the west coast of Ireland had some boomers for locals and visitors alike.

Sancho paddled Mully in the morning, which we greatly respect and admire. There was a tow shot too, but we ain’t gonna run that. Like, who cares?

Also in the lineup were Michel Bourez, consoling himself on an early exit from the Quik Pro France with some frigid Celtic thump and also legendary Irish vegetable grower and occasional surfer Fergal Smith.

Back in SE105, we misquoted Ferg saying “Mullaghmore is a shit tow wave” in a feature about him. He didn’t in fact say that. He just said he preferred to paddle it these days… We prefer that too.

As soon as we get our greasy paws on a video from the day, you’ll be the first to know.
