Victoria Vergara could suffer some kind of terrible drunken mishap upon my favourite pair of slippers, and it still wouldn’t disabuse me of the notion that this French longboardeuse is a living deity.

She first learnt to surf on the Île d’Oléron on the Atlantic coast of France, but her upbringing was divided mostly between New Caledonia and Réunion Island. Now she lives in New York and competes on the Women’s Longboard Tour, finishing last year in the top 10.
