Last Friday saw a few waves at Jaws for the first time this year and while it wasn’t giant-sized Peahi and had a little wind on it there were plenty big wave wildmen there to greet the swell – but highlights from this new video edit have to go to regular local standout Albee Layer and Nazaré head honcho Garrett McNamara who managed to find their way into a couple roomy Jaws pits! These days it’s all about having fun out there at Maui’s premiere big wave lineup and in Jamie O’Brien and Kalani Chapman’s case that meant paddling out there on foamies.
