It’s been flat in California for weeks. But last week’s big North Pacific storm, which saw the Mavericks Invitational run last Friday, finally changed all that. The swell was powerful enough to light up every nook and cranny, including California’s beloved right-hand point break Ricon, and hell everyone was hungry for a piece.

But that’s not all. Shot from a drone at dusk, some seriously skilled piloting offers a truly unique point of view of the Ricon line-up with flash, fluid lines from the likes of Dane Reynolds, Conner Coffin and a host of other Queen of the Coast locals.
