Only a couple spots short of qualifying for the World Tour last year, Santa Barbara’s 20-year-old powerful natural footer Conner Coffin has progressed in leaps and bounds the last couple years. And, with the advent of a new World Tour qualifying format for 2014, his chances of jumping up those few extra spots couldn’t look much brighter. He’s one of the few juniors who’s managed to build himself a rep for powerful rail work and it’s hard not to think having Ricon round the corner from his hasn’t played a part in that.
