Hoping for a big result in Brazil, world tour aerial whizz and home favourite Filipe Toledo headed to California for a week to work with his shaper and dial in a new quiver of boards for Rio’s punchy beachbreaks. Up against equally talented Aussie aerialist Jules Wilson (and Basque ripper Aritz Aranburu) in Round 1, Toledo will have his work cut out for him from the get-go.
