When digging in the crate for some classic movie content from the Vans crew for the Site Hijack, it was impossible to overlook this recent flick from Surfer Mag: Vans present Journey to the Center.

Starring Dane Gudang and Kepa Acero, and filmed by former SE Photo Ed Alex Laurel, the crew return to the coast of West Africa, where Laurel grew up and learned to surf.

Not copping the raw brunt of the South Atlantic swells as spots further down like Namibia, Gabon still offers beautiful left points, amazing wildlife and the full challenges of last-frontier-like adventure.
