Desert Point is firing, apparently. We haven’t checked the forecast or anything, but we’ll take MySurf.tv’s word for it. Certainly it was firing whenever this footage was captured. Craig Anderson, Brent Dorrington, Nick Vasicek, Conner Coffin, Sheldon Simkus, Mitch Parkinson and Chippa Wilson were among those playing with fire. And yet! Somehow Desert Point didn’t make it into our list of 10 Indo Waves to Surf Before You Die. Two alternative possibilities come to mind: either there are 10 waves in Indonesia better than Desert Point, or Surf Europe contributor Ben Mondy has been smoking crack.
