It all starts today. The Hurley Pro waiting period at Lower Trestles is on and the comp should see an early start.

It’s a great time to be a fan of surfing and it’s an even greater time to be young opportunists – namely Kolohe Andino and Carissa Moore.

Two of the surf world’s finest are looking for big things at Lowers.

Carissa could use a win to solidify her 2014 World Title crusade, while Kolohe, at 20-years-old, is looking to make a bold statement on his home turf – possibly his first ever WCT win?

We’ll have to wait for fate to unfold but until then, let’s take a 21Days journey into the lives of these two apex predators as they prepare for the great feed. Should be an interesting week.
