Quiksilver was back in Anglet this year for the 12th edition of the Quik Airshow and one of the biggest highlights of the summer at the beach of Les Sables d’Or.
Conditions were pretty perfect for the heaving, mid-August bank holiday weekend with plenty of 2ft onshore ramps breaking close to the beach for all to see. Surfers included some of the best French and Spanish young talent, namely European Junior Champion Joan Duru, Hugues Oyarzabal, Marc Lacomare, Manu Portet and Damien Chaudoy, but it was Jean Charles Debray from Guadeloupe that ended up taking first place.
