The big talk amongst internet swell gazers in this neck of the woods right now is all the swell that appears to be in the post. Whilst onshore winds and torrential rain have today blown out the last few days’ perfect head-high peaks in Les Landes, big lows swirling out in the North Atlantic look set to pump swell in our general direction for the next week or so. The Met Office surface pressure analysis shows a big low currently centered south of Iceland, with another deep dartboard low (former Tropical Storm Florence) off the eastern seaboard of the USA, which is predicted to move rapid east towards Europe maintaining intensity. Most forecasters are expecting solid long period groundswell across Europe for much of the next week. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s also cranking in the western Med,
innit.
