The waves were kinda so-so. A wee bit of heft, but nothing classic for the history books as yet.

Ramzi Boukhiam shredded his heat, and will be coming up late in the draw in Rd 2.

This being the last Prime comp of the year, it’s last-chance cafe for the likes of Charly Martin who got bumped out of a qualifying spot at Haleiwa and needs a result. He’ll be coming up in heat 12 of Rd 2, in case your ass was wondering.
