Last year was largely kinda ‘meh’ in terms of surf.

In fact, the year was half over before somewhere lived up to the previous Dream Tour moniker.

And that’s half a year too long to wait, dammit!

Why are we so sure the surf is going to good this year? Have we performed sun spot analysis? Are we privy to some kind of covert yet favourable El Nino Southern Oscillation event?

No. We just reckon.

The law of averages state that the Tour is due a good un. A real cracker. Swells falling inside the waiting period, not agonisingly either side.

Thus we boldly predict 7 of 11 events will have well above average surf conditions, 4 of those 7 will be fucking pumping and 2 will be swell o’century. Bold!

Furthermore, we enthuse that Rio will be ‘fun’.
