Reports are filtering through that Garrett MacNamara rode what might be the biggest ever wave ever surfed today at Nazare. The photo here on the Billabong XXL Facebook page looks faker than the Pamela Anderson’s left boob, but maybe that’s because no one’s ever seen a wave this bloody big before.

The youtube clip below makes it less clear, with G-Mac fading to the right, but if a wave is breaking this far out at Nazare it has to be friggin ginormous. We have our scouts on the ground and will report the full story as soon. Whatever went down, it seems it will be making some type of history
