Tow in Surfing, a film by Rosaldo Cavalcanti. See it on the Big Screen on Thursday, November 16th at 7 & 9pm at Pierside Surf City 6 Theatres

Executive produced by Alvaro Otero and directed by Jorge Guimares and Rosaldo Cavalcanti, Tow in Surfing was professionally (expensively) shot in 16 mm and 35 mm, with six different angles; from land, at sea and from helicopters. Filmed mainly at Jaws in Maui, this exciting, big wave documentary shows the history and future of Tow Surfing and the training it takes to achieve the thrill.

Starring: Mike Parsons, Brad Gerlach, Ken Bradshaw, Carlos Burle, Dan Moore, Ryan Rawson, Archie Kalepa and Jeff Clark, and more. They tell their own stories; including riveting accounts of how close to death they have found themselves and how they prepare physically and mentally to avoid a tragedy.
