Scottish Championships provides wildcard into O’Neill Highland Open 6 Star WQS
The Scottish Championships are due to be scheduled for the 14th and 15th of April this year at Thurso East, Scotland, depending on the swell conditions. If there is a lack of swell or poor wind conditions we would look at holding the event at other breaks in the area. Failing this if the swell is too small on that weekend we would look at running the event over the 21st and 22nd of April.
We will be making a call on Thursday the 12th of April to make a call as to whether the event will be called on or off. Likewise we will look at the next Thursday (19th) if the event is called off. We have scheduled an AGM to be held at the Orange room in the Park Hotel on Saturday the 14th at 17:00, we would be delighted if you could attend.
This will allow us the opportunity of driving the Federation forward and also allow you to air your views giving us an incline as to what you our members would like to see happening with the federation. Again we would be delighted if you could make it and we welcome the feedback.
The event will be sponsored by O’Neill and Reef, the Scottish Surfing Federation can announce that the winner of the open division will win a wildcard entry into the O’Neill Highland Open!
