With this year’s Quik Pro Goldie waiting period running 1st to 12th March, ZoSea have just released their trailer for this year’s opening season leg at Snapper. First impression suggest the new media management team have sided for a full-on gladiator sporting vibe for this year’s tour, which, to tell the truth, is a little over the top to our taste but if it means finding the sponsorship backing to produce better, more entertaining surf events then it’s a small price to pay.

On that note, there still remains a large degree of uncertainty regarding the rest of the season’s tour stops. The ASP’s newly launched website currently suggests that they’ve still yet to strike sponsorship deals for this year’s Bali and Fiji leg, to which both Oakley and Volcom have refused to commit respectively. It’s also not yet been made clear as to whether this year’s live webcasts will be free-to-view or pay-to-view. But count on us to keep you posted as soon as we know more!
