New Futures “Vector Rasta Keel”

Aussie free-surfing icon David “Rasta” Rastovich, introduces his signature keel fin, the “Vector Rasta Keel”. For the past year, Rasta and Future Fins have been working closely together to design the most advanced keel for a twin board. Rasta doesn’t fit into your conventional free-surfing stereotype, while yes he is traveling allover the world capturing video and photos of him surfing perfect waves, he is constantly experimenting with his equipment while pushing the envelope on every wave, riding every board possible and surfing all sorts of fin setups, he is truly a fluid surfer in all aspects of surfing.

As a surfer, Dave Rastovich knows the importance of the ocean and all of its inhabitants. Knowing this, Rasta is donating 100% of his signature Vector Rasta Keel royalties to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Founded in 1977 by Paul Watson, co-founder of Green Peace, Sea Shepherd is a non-profit organization that enforces laws and restrictions against whaling in Antarctic waters, against longlining and shark finning in the Galapagos Islands, and against the Canadian seal slaughter. Other Sea Shepherd supporters include celebrities; the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Richard Dean Anderson, Pierce Brosnan, Martin Sheen, Sean Penn, and William Shatner.

About the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization whose mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas.
