JJF has had more rambunctious pits at the Banzai Pipeline than you’ve had cranks. Photo: Carey
John John Florence won the Volcom Pipe Pro this weekend at the Banzai Pipeline, you’ll probably not be overly surprised to learn. Runner up was Wardo, who had his best competitive result for ages, with Kerrzy and Ola Eleogram also in the final.
Waves were pretty good for the climax of what is probably the world’s finest WQS event, but not A+. Still. For those of you who stayed up to watch it, we salute your mustard keenness.
Jony Gonzalez, who did well last year, flew the flag for EU with an =25th as the highest placed red passport owner in a pretty shithouse showing by the Euronads.
Video coming soon, surf fans.
Wardo. Who got second, didn’t get punched out and didn’t icicle anyone. Photo: Carey
