Gotcha Signs Surfer Mick Campbell

Gotcha is stoked to announce that it has signed Australian surfer Mick Campbell to a three year deal. Mick joins Gotcha’s impressive and growing international roster of athletes.

The former second ranked surfer in the world, Campbell returns to the sport’s biggest stage focused and ready to take down surfing’s top guns. By making the quarter finals at the first contest of the season (the Quicksilver Pro at Snapper Rock), Mick proved he can compete at the highest level on the ASP World Tour and will have an immediate impact on this year’s results. Mick’s surfing accolades include Rookie of the Year title in 1997, and a second place finish to the now eight-time world champion Kelly Slater in 1998.

“I am excited at the opportunity of working with Gotcha®” says Mick. “I’m looking forward to flying the Gotcha® flag and hopefully bring in a world title,” he continued.

When asked how he made such an amazing comeback, Mick adds, “I recharged the batteries back home, then started preparing, and training. I’ve set myself a few personal goals, however I’m going to push myself – and enjoy what’s ahead of me. Life’s good.”

“We’re ecstatic about landing Mick,” says Marketing Director Devin Johnson. “Mick has proven that he can compete with the world’s best and we’re certain that he will have an immediate impact on tour, as his recent finish at the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rock confirmed. We’re thrilled he’s on board and plan to make him an integral part of our global marketing strategy.”
