Girl Beats Mother For Not Taking Her Surfing

Many of us are so passionate about our sport we might stand a date up, forget to lock the door on the way out, or abandon our none surfing friends completely, but beating our mothers, what the hell is that about?

Eighteen year old Jillian Alisha Stokes (no relation to Alan) of Tierrasanta (needless to say that is in America) has been charged with aggravated mayhem, torture and battery causing great bodily injury after beating her mother to within an inch of her life because she refused to take her surfing. The victim, 60-year-old Bonnie Lynn Spector was pushed to the ground by her daughter who proceeded to deliver blows to Bonnie’s head and body, leaving her unconscious. Arrested shortly after the incident, Jillian Stokes is at the women’s jail in Santee on $500,000 bail. If convicted, she faces a sentence of 16 years to life in prison.

We can speculate about what lead up to this inexcusable crime, but it does not detract from the fact mum’s are generally pretty cool, they put plasters on our knees when we eat shit as a kid, they embarass the hell out of us when we start bringing ‘friends’ back in our teens, and they never ever stop nagging. But they’re still our mums, so go buy yours some flowers, maybe tell her how much you appreciate her, and never ever put your boot in!
