What is your greatest fear?
Losing loved ones.
What was your most embarrassing moment.
Every time I have a big night I wake up embarrassed haha. That’s probably why they are few and far between these days. (Strangely Mick didn’t put in this dance move below)
Property aside, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
I bought a Porsche 911 once when I thought I was a rock star. Then I figured boards don’t fit in them, nor do people.
What makes you unhappy?
People that don’t see the beauty in life. So many people these days seemed depressed. It’s sad.
What’s the worst thing anyone has ever said to you?
Grow up! Haha
Who would play you in the film of your life?
I would love Johnny Depp, but it’d probably be more like a D-grade actor.
Who are your celebrity parents?
Haha David Bowie and Pink, what a combo.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
My forehead hair. It grows an inch and I can’t see haha.
Who are your heroes?
People that keep improving themselves and are always ready for a challenge.
What has been your biggest disappointment?
Rod Cunthorpe not showing to my 30th haha
If you could go back in time where would you go?
I’d back to the 70s and travel the world surfing. Uncrowded perfect waves.
What song would you like played at your funeral?
I would leave that to who ever organized it. If I pick one now then every time I hear it I’d get depressed.
Who is the worst person to surf a heat against?
Any good person, because even if you do win you feel bad for them.
What piece of advice would you give your 15-year-old self?
Have a great time.
Complete the sentence. If I ruled the world…
I would try my best to eliminate wars and famine plus put more focus on cleaning the world.
In the meantime here is Mick at P-Pass from last year showing why he is the one of the best surfers that has ever lived.
