Is it just us or did the ASP judging panel appear to be significantly more discerning in their scoring at Bells, awarding just one perfect 10 during the whole event (to John John Florence)? Which got us thinking, what’s in a 10? Well, a look back at those few competitors to have earned not one but two perfect 10s in one heat might best answer that question we thought… Yes, in the history of the ASP world tour, just four world tour rippers have risen to the challenge, two of whom have achieved the feat twice. But everyone knows surfing performance is a subjective game, right? As a result it’s possible for one perfect 10 to be a whole lot better than another. So of these 6 perfect heats which performance do you reckon was the best?
