Technically the second look, actually, after footage was leaked a few weeks ago of the facility operating at 50%, but this is the first we’ve seen of it firing on all cylinders [UPDATE: apparently it wasn’t firing on all cylinders, word on the street is there’s more in the tank]. Alan Stokes and Jayce Robinson are the test pilots — plus, erm, Jarrad Howse (former world tour surfer, now Mick Fanning’s coach) makes a cameo appearance.

Anyway, we’re pretty sure it’s at least the second best thing to happen in North Wales, ever (after the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru).
