Australian charger Laurie Townie was a fixture at Code Holy Fuck swells for a good part of the last decade, popping up at Shipstern’s, Teahupoo and the like any time the swell charts were off the scale.

His oeuvre was looking calm in the scariest of situations, and almost made ollying down the step at Shippies into a hideous pit into something of a signature move.
