Clark Little, brother of the late Brock, is leader of the pack in a field that also requires one to be at least a little unhinged: shorebreak photography. Essentially, he gets repeatedly rogered by the shorey whilst going “click”, and the resultant images are some of the loveliest you’ll ever see.
The director? It’s only Peter bloody King, creator of the universally adored Tournotes series. (The latest episode, not a day old, is the best in months.) He’s responsible numerous four-minute masterpieces, all filmed with nothing but an iPhone, but how does he fare at the helm of a full-length documentary?
The dubstep does not, admittedly, bode well, but reserve judgement until you’ve seen the film in its entirety; it’s available now.
