Each autumn a crew of local tube hounds and a handful of pros hold a get pitted comp in the Hossegor/Capbreton region known as Royal Barrique.

This year, the event was taken out by local surf coach Arnaud Darrigade, who’s probably spent as much time in watery wombs of Les Landes as any man alive. Organisers rekcon about 70 tubes were made this year, not a bad afternoon at the beach!
