Basque travelling tube hound Hugues Oyarzabal was awarded last year’s Surfer Mag new GoPro award, presented to him by Kelly. This may have come as quite a surprise to most but Hugues is one of the first to have embraced the POV revolution (well before GoPro even existed) and his output to date impressive.
So anyway it was only a matter of time until Hugues made his way down to Namibia’s Skeleton Bay, home to the world’s longest left-hand tube rides, and you’ll like what he came back with.
Ever since the locals put the smack down on 4×4 lifts back to the peak, the hardest part is the walk/trot back up the kilometre-long point to catch another but hey it still sounds like a small price to pay.
