With one of the stormiest North Atlantic winters in years, French free rippers Edouard Delpero and Arthur Bourbon decided to head along the northern coast of Spain in search of secret sheltered spots and, by the looks of things, found ’em!
“While the storms succeeded each other, and winter continued to be increasingly violent, we spotted a small weather window to escape to. With SSW winds offering super tidy offshore conditions along the Spanish coast, we knew that finding swell wouldn’t pose a problem,” said Arthur Bourbon. “Looking back now, it turned out to be the best decision of the winter! Not a soul in the water, and that classic ‘on the road feeling’ where you feel like you could just keep going forever without ever getting bored”
