Last week’s Hurricane Marie hit California with so much swell that a lot of places couldn’t handle the power but that wasn’t so for Newport Beach’s The Wedge. Reports are that it was all time, with some folk even going so far as to compare it to Pipeline (possibly getting a little carried away there but hey there hadn’t been any waves in a while…)

Anyway, for a spot that’s renowned for its big drop to heavy closeout, there were definitely some longer sections to be had out there and yes even some makeable pits as this latest rad drone footage demonstrates.
