We may well be into September but autumn for now is nowhere to be seen as we head into yet another North Atlantic week-long flat spell in Europe. The southern hemi, on the hand, has had a banger of wave season. From all-time Skeleton Bay earlier this summer, firing J-Bay and the best contest ever in Tahiti to a recent crazy run of swell on the East Coast of Australia that saw Kirra return to the limelight, it’s been all go. Just ask Australian ripper Eliott Marshall and the time he’s spent charging South Oz slabs and threading perfect Indo tubes.
