You’ll see him grinning like a Cheshire Cat streaking through low tide screamers at the Dark Eye or you might see him drinking cafe con leche con mucho azucar at the bar, also grinning. Maybe not as daunting a challenge as running thirty seven marathons in forty two days like Eddie Izzard, but so what?

During the year 2010, Kepa Acero will venture on a never before experienced journey: a world around journey to surf a world class wave in each one of the 5 different continents. These 5 ocean jewels are equal to the eight thousand metre peaks in mountaineering.
After a long investigation exercise, Kepa will try and reach these world class waves through asiatic tropical jungles, freezing african waters, the australian outback and dry american land, finishing the long crossing in his own home; the mythical Mundaka left hander.
The adventurous surfer knows the exact location of the breaks, what he still doesn’t know is how he is going to get to each one of them, which for Kepa is the most interesting part of the trip. It is not only based on the quality of the breaks, but the capacity to overcome all the inconveniences, struggle and risk that he will find along the way. The human factor will be very important in this project.
Finally, each time Kepa obtains the reward of surfing the breaks in epic conditions his objective will be completed, passing on to the next destiny. This is how it will be done consecutively, compiling all his past experiences in his retina and his cameras.

Durante el año 2010, Kepa Acero, se aventura a hacer un viaje nunca antes experimentado: La vuelta al mundo alrededor de los 5 continentes, para surfear una rompiente de clase mundial en cada uno de ellos.
Tras un largo ejercicio de investigación, Kepa tratará de llegar a estas olas de clase mundial por selvas tropicales asiáticas, frías aguas africanas, el desierto australiano, y áridas tierras americanas, acabando la larga travesía en su propia casa: la mítica izquierda de Mundaka.
El aventurado surfista conoce la ubicación de estos spots de clase mundial, lo que aún no sabe es como llegará a cada uno de ellos , lo cual será para Kepa la parte más interesante del viaje. No se basa solo en la calidad de las olas, sino en la capacidad de superación, lucha y riesgo que encontrará en este camino. El factor humano tendrá gran importancia en este proyecto.
Finalmente, cada vez que Kepa consiga la recompensa de surfear la rompiente buscada en condiciones épicas, dará por cumplido su objetivo, pasando al siguiente destino. Así lo hará en cadena, recopilando todas sus experiencias del tiempo pasado, en su retina y en sus cámaras.
