After last week’s headline swell in the Indian Ocean saw the Rip Curl Cup trials run in perfect 6-8 foot Padang Padang, the first free surfing footage from around the rest of archipelago is starting to filter in.

From the looks of this GoPro edit from Aussie tube hound Anthony Walsh, there were a few waves at Desert Point with plenty room inside to move the camera around!
