Three years in the making, UK film producer Jimmy Witson has announced the release of his new British and Irish surf film ‘Breaking Through’ (made entirely by UK surfers!) for this coming summer.

Determined to showcase the passion, dedication and lifestyle all British surfers share, the film follows a selection of British and Irish professional surfers on their various wave-searching odysseys around the British isles and abroad throughout this last winter’s exceptional run of XXL North Atlantic swell.

With multiple British surf film makers such as Mr B, Tim Boydell and surfer/film-maker Oli Adams contributing to their own different sections, viewers will also be exposed to an array of British film-making talent and the different styles that exist within the British video scene.

Overall this film’s goal was to offer every surfer from Am to Pro an insight into the beautiful wave riding locations the British Isles has to offer, and the surfers who brave lengthy travels and harsh conditions in search of that ultimate ride.
