If you’ve not yet had the chance to see Keith Malloy’s feature-film on body surfing ‘Come Hell or Highwater‘, well, you really should. The intro section shot at a wave called Panic Point on the south side of Oahu is just the best, but other sections such as Mark Cunningham at Teahupoo ain’t bad too! But Newport Beach’s The Wedge also earns itself a place in the movie as one of the sport’s original stomping grounds. As demonstrated by this new drone footage of The Wedge, put together in memory of a lifeguard Ben Carlson who lost his life rescuing someone in distress in solid 12 foot surf last month, few waves offer better kicks when it comes to the drop!
