La Graviere was kinda nuts yesterday, solid 8ft plus of swell, puffing offshore east winds. The early morning’s low tide wash thru’s at La Grav sent many scuttling for cover in Capbreton, but not all.
Some manly men posted up, waited for the tide to fill a touch and for the nuclear teepees start to march out of Biscay straight onto the rough sand.
Among them, Miky Picon, Vincent Duvi, Nelson Cloarec… as well as mad basterds Fred Compagnon and Remi Arauzo on the tandem SUP/strapped in alaia.
