In anticipation of this year’s Tahiti tour leg Billabong took their team of groms to Teahupoo a few weeks back, including one of their youngest and brightest protégés, W.A.’s Jack Robinson. Awarded a spot into this year’s trials event (which took place yesterday), it was the perfect opportunity for the young 16-year-old to get some ‘practice’ in alongside Ian Gentil, Griffin Colapinto, Kalani Ball, Shaun Manners, Josh Burke, Taylor Clark, Riley Lang and Ethan Ewing.
