Shane Dorian’s first-ever trip to Ireland coincided with a thumping North Atlantic swell and perfect conditions in Co Clare, home to some of Europe’s most iconic big wave breaks.

Teaming up with Sancho and the rest of Billabong Adventure Division, the crew took on perfect giant peaks under The Cliffs as well as scoring the brutal slabbing left known as Riley’s.

If the resulting edit doesn’t get you fired up for tackling some winter juice, nothing will. It’s cold water amp-up at its very finest.
