ANGOLA’S DESERT POINT: THE NEWEST BEST WAVE IN THE WORLD?

Two South African brothers Davey and Benji Brand have dropped a new clip featuring what might be the newest and best surf discovery since Namibia’s Skeleton Bay. 3 miles long and with 7 barrel sections it is a cross between Desert Point and J-Bay. The two surfers seemed to have followed in the footsteps of intrepid explorer Kepa Acero, who also has just returned from his second stint in Angola. “I found a wave that is similar to Skeleton Bay,’ said Kepa, “just not as heavy, and more perfect, like an Indonesian point break.” We are guessing it is this wave. Another huge discovery in the surfing world.
