I went Bilbao last week and watched the footie, Europa cup or whatever they call it these days, used to be the Inter two-bob. Athletic are like the royalty of Iberian football, it is the city where the English first introduced the sport, from whence it spread about Spain. They only have Basque players, and have never been relegated from La Liga, along with only Barca and Real Madrid. Anyway, they won 3-2 against Tromso of Norway (shit). It also happened to be the Aste Nagusia massive fiesta in Bilbo, zillions of Wasques on the streets getting wasted and throwing shit on the ground. It was awesome.

There were waves at Mundaka saturday. I surfed there and went over the falls first wave and landed on my new board, putting a pressure ding in it that looks like its been shot with a cannonball. Joder! It was really warm, blue water, not your typical Dark Eye experince. Eneko was out there got some good uns, as did Iker Fuentes.

Back in Las Landas sunday for the day of days. The fucker stayed offshore all day! As if that ever happens! Waves were unbelievable, 6ft, offshore, blue. Gosh it was good.
